AIF-C01 · AWS
AWS Certified AI Practitioner
A foundational certification for people whose work touches AI on AWS without building the models themselves.
A foundational certification for people whose work touches AI on AWS without building the models themselves. No coding and no model training are required, which makes it the natural companion to CLF-C02 rather than a step beyond it. It covers AI and machine learning fundamentals, generative AI concepts, applying foundation models through Amazon Bedrock, responsible AI, and the security, compliance and governance side of running AI workloads. Like the real exam, this bank includes multiple-response questions where more than one option is correct, alongside standard single-answer ones.
Who sits this exam
Anyone who has to be credible about AI on AWS without training anything: product and program people, analysts, consultants, and engineers who want the vocabulary before going deeper. No coding and no model training are assumed, which makes it a companion to CLF-C02 rather than a step beyond it.
What it covers
Each domain below is weighted the way the real exam weights it, and scored separately, so you can see which one is holding the total down.
- 01Fundamentals of AI and ML
- 02Fundamentals of GenAI
- 03Applications of Foundation Models
- 04Guidelines for Responsible AI
- 05Security, Compliance, and Governance for AI Solutions
How you will practise
- Review
- Practice with answers explained immediately.
- Section
- Review one domain at a time.
- Timed
- A timed set with results at the end.
- Final
- The full exam simulation — every question, timed.
What passing proves
That you can tell a generative problem from a predictive one, choose between prompting, RAG and fine-tuning for a reason you can state, and speak to the responsible-AI and governance questions that decide whether an AI project ships.
